Why SAFe / scaled agile industrial complex became a costly fad
SAFe failed engineers because it optimized for portfolio visibility, not shipping small slices. It stuck in Fortune 500 procurement because "scaled agile" is an RFP checkbox. The costly part is paying coaches to rename milestones while dependencies stay the same.
